Forest Health Issues

             

IAWF Board Member Ann Walker recently moderated discussions held by the Forest Health Advisory Committee of the Western Governors' Association in Boise, Idaho. Walker is the Forest Health Program Director for the Western Governors' Association, based in Denver. Chuck Bushey represents the IAWF on this committee and co-chairs the Wildland Urban Interface subcommittee. Land management priorities and concerns discussed during the meeting will be presented to the Western Governors' Association, which in turn will make the information available to federal and state land management agencies, as well as the Wildland Fire Leadership Council.
